Accelerating Deployment at Warehousing and Multi-Modal Logistics Parks
Axon Energies has recently signed a series of strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with leading fleet operators, warehousing developers, and logistics park integrators to accelerate the rollout of its off-grid megawatt-scale EV charging infrastructure across India.
These partnerships represent a significant step forward in aligning energy infrastructure with the evolving needs of India’s freight and logistics industry.
What the MOUs Enable
Under these agreements, Axon will deploy its fully decentralized charging hubs—powered by a mix of solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and hydrogen fuel cells—at high-demand logistics sites including:
Multi-Modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs)
Large-format warehousing clusters
Private fleet depots and intercity terminals
Each site will host DC-to-DC ultra-fast charging capabilities (250–400 kW per dispenser), delivering rapid 30-minute turnaround times for electric trucks and buses.
Why This Matters
These partnerships allow Axon to:
Secure long-term land access and energy demand through joint deployment models
Support offtake readiness with large fleets adopting electric logistics vehicles
Ensure energy reliability without reliance on grid upgrades or diesel gensets
Provide full-site energy, powering cold storage, admin areas, lighting, and other AC loads—cheaper than prevailing grid tariffs
What’s Next
With MOUs now in place, detailed site assessments, energy simulations, and phased rollout plans are already underway in Delhi NCR, Lucknow, and southern metro clusters. These deployments will serve as benchmarks for how clean energy, logistics, and mobility can converge at scale.
